It’s now May and boy, we have we had a strange year so far. It’s been a time of panic, fear and gratitude for our health and family.

Everyone has managed the situation that this Covid-19 pandemic has put us in differently and found their own way to cope. For some it has been a seamless transition from pre-lockdown life to staying home and navigating our days from the safety of our kitchens, living rooms, back gardens and our precious (now) 5km jaunt out to get our daily dose of exercise and air.

Pawfit has been fully closed since mid March and the team has been really missing our usual furry friends, the dogs usually we see so often.

We have all been eagerly looking forward to seeing the puppies and dogs that make up our adventure crew.

Missing the tail wagging and beaming smiles greeting us at the door as we begin their walk to the park and often the beach.

Until then we have realized the important thing to focus on is keeping everyone safe and well and lending a hand where we can!

We have been offering Free Dog Walks to the elderly of community, who may be cocooning.

We are also in awe of those working on the front lines at the moment and want to show our gratitude by extending the same offer to those working on the front lines.

We hope that you are finding ways to stay sane. Whether that’s baking your 53rd Banana bread in the past fortnight, adopting a wonderful, fluffy ball of joy in a puppy, getting to know your family or partner better, mastering yoga from your back garden, or binging all of the Netflix series you would never have time for in times of ‘real life’.

Ps. I would highly recommend joining TikTok and basking in the treasure trove of funny and cute dog videos, dance clips and comedic gold that the fun and fresh platform has to offer!

Lots of hugs,
