Georgina
Georgina has been an integral part of Pawfit since 2019. First joining the Pawfit team soon after moving to Ireland from the UK!
Georgina is a kind, gentle, compassionate and smart animal professional.
Georgina has always been one to go the extra mile in any way she can, the tip of the iceberg of this can be seen in the many photo updates each dog receives as it’s impossible to choose just one photo where the dog is having the most fun, she brace yourself for ALL the pupdates.
Georgina cares deeply about each dog in her care and has always been so gifted with nervous dogs, putting them at ease and gaining their trust very quickly.
Georgina has strong bonds with all of the dogs in her care, she snaps the happiest and most fun photos of the dogs enjoying their adventures and in some cases, playdates.
Georgina is also a very skilled artist. She runs her own pet portrait business in her spare time, capturing the character of the animals with many meticulous and careful brush strokes.

James
James has been part of the Pawfit team since the start of 2022, however James was already a master in the Dog Walking and dog care field, coming from a background of Dog Walking, Minding and Dog Training for years prior to honouring the Pawfit team with his experience, love, care and easy going demeaner.
James has devoted regulars, who wait excited at the door, knowing that James is arriving any minute for their beach or park adventures.
James himself has a border terrier called Hamish, who he treats like a king! (So naturally his pup squad get the same royal treatment between the cuddles, treats, games of fetch and having an attentive guardian during their time out with him.)
Along with James’ passion for animals, James loves to attend comic-con conventions, is a pro gamer and enjoys travel.

Vanessa
Vanessa took up the dog leash with Pawfit in February 2023 after learning all about and meeting many of the dogs with Emma, throughout January. Coming from a career in Childcare but with a huge love for animals, she had the meticulously caring, nurturing as well as professional nature needed to have total peace of mind that each dog is in caring, kind and responsible hands.
Vanessa has always cycled and hiked on weekends so the transition into the active lifestyle of dog walking has been seamless.
It feels as though Vanessa has been part of Pawfit for years with how quickly the bonds were made with each of the dogs and the level of confidence that Vanessa has with dogs.
She is a fantastic photographer, capturing the goofy smiles and excited zoomies of her crew on a daily basis.
In addition to her many accreditations in child care, Vanessa has a degree in Film and Media. We’re very lucky that Vanessa has entered the world of animal care. In the same way that people say, man’s best friend is a dog..well the dogs in Vanessa’s care have a best friend in her.
Frequently Asked Questions

Feel free to get in touch with any other queries
Dog walks will feature a visit to one or more parks in the local area, sniffing every tree on the horizon or sprinting around with their furiends. We often take them to the sea and beach wherever possible, especially with the water babies.
Our standard dog walk is 1 hour in duration from leaving the house with your dog, this is the most popular option among our dog owners.
30 minute walks are also available, often suitable for older dogs or for splitting the day up while you’re at work to give your dog a loo break, along with any food or water they may need.
Start by giving Emma a call where you can ask any questions you’d like and arrange a suitable time for a virtual meet and greet for yourself and your pup to chat about what you and your fur baby’s needs are before going ahead with your dog’s first walk, where we will arrive a couple of minutes early to introduce ourselves properly.
We cannot always facilitate last minute bookings but will do our best to help yourself and your pup out!
We always will cater to our regular dog owners as much as possible as we don’t want anyone to be left behind!
Oftentimes, after the schedule has been sent out on a Sunday evening, further bookings can be limited.
We ask for two copies to the house to collect and drop home your dog after their adventure. Two working copies of your house keys must be provided at the time of your dog’s first walk if this is the preferred option. If yourself or someone else will be home at the time of your dog’s walks we can ring the bell and drop them back to yourself or a person of the house if preferred. Some dog owners will provide keys to a side door, ect. Whatever is easiest for you!
Being realistic, we live in Ireland, so when it rains we don’t let it ruin our parade. Walks will proceed during the rain, if dogs however don’t want to go outside in the wet weather we can stay and provide them with an indoor play date!
